A juicy Kenyan profile offering berry-like aromatics and bright citrus acidity.

The name Tekangu combines the names of three washing stations: Tegu, Karogoto and Ngunguru. Founded in 1969, the cooperative brings together smallholder farmers growing coffee around Karatina in Nyeri County. Many cultivate less than half a hectare, making shared infrastructure an important part of getting their coffee to market. The cooperative also distributes organic fertiliser made from coffee pulp to its members.
