Herrera Extended Fermentation Gesha
A lively Peruvian Gesha—light and juicy, with layered summer fruit sweetness and a long, resonant acidity.
Last year, we were impressed by a Red Bourbon from Marcos Herrera’s farm, and his coffees have only continued to improve. This Gesha is a reflection of that progress. The farm itself holds particular significance for Marcos—it was once his father’s, and for many years, he was the only one to work its land. We were introduced to this lot by our friend Mark Russell from Khipu, who has a remarkable talent for discovering exceptional farmers in Peru.
