Hermosa Honey
A harmoniously balanced Costa Rican coffee, offering soft acidity, a syrupy body and a nutty finish.
In 1960, driven by frustration over lost profits to middlemen and lack of control, coffee producers in Costa Rica’s Dota Valley came together to purchase their own mill and form the cooperative “Coopedota”. Gone were the days of transporting their coffee to distant processing centres, the new mill transformed the area, allowing coffee farmers to earn better incomes from their crops. Today, this legacy lives on through Hermosa Honey, a coffee produced and processed locally by Coopedota.
