Bombe Sidama Washed
An elegant Ethiopian coffee with a soft, silky acidity, long floral aromatics, and a crisp, clean finish.
The Sidama region has cultivated coffee for centuries, recognised globally for its complex flavours and quality. This legacy is rooted in smallholder farms, where traditional practices and diverse microclimates create unique, sought-after coffees. Ato Dukale, the producer of Bombe Sidama Washed, was inspired by this rich tradition and his parents' work on a coffee farm. Already known to his neighbourhood for competing at national volleyball tournaments, Ato began his journey in the coffee industry by sourcing beans from local farmers and eventually establishing a washing station in Daye Bensa. Today, Dukale Wakayo Dakola, the family company he founded, has over 16 collection centres across the region. Oversight of the company has been passed down to his two sons who continue to produce quality coffee.
