Maputo Typica Mejorado Honey

This coffee stands out for its silky texture and vibrant tropical fruit acidity, clean throughout and finishing with an intense sweetness.

We first tasted Verena and Henry Gaibor’s coffee grown on Finca Maputo seven years ago. It was delivered from their Bristol garage in a Robin Reliant. Unsure what to expect, we decided to include it in a blind tasting. Their coffee ended up outperforming every other cup on the table; we were struck by its delightful purple, effervescent character. We’ve returned to Finca Maputo every year since then.
