Limited Release
Sydra Wave Natural '23 Harvest
With a perfumed aroma, pronounced acidity, and vibrant tropical flavours, the Sydra Wave Natural offers a unique profile, reminiscent of renowned Kenyan varietals like SL28 and SL34.
Introducing the Sydra Wave Natural from Finca Soledad, part of our Limited Release Rare series in the Intag Valley, a recognised United Nations World Heritage GEOPARK. This coffee showcases the farm's innovative cultivation methods and dedication to environmental stewardship, with a significant land portion dedicated to natural forest preservation and only 5 hectares for coffee cultivation.
The Sydra Wave Natural, processed alongside varieties such as Typica Mejorado, Gesha, and Panama Gesha, undergoes a natural drying process using indirect sunlight. This method reflects Finca Soledad's commitment to quality, precision, and ecological balance, ensuring the coffee's unique characteristics are maintained for both taste and sustainability.
Pepe adds, "Our 'Wave philosophy' guides us to work in unison with nature, aiming to cause the least amount of stress to our coffee's living embryo. By gently modulating environment, temperature, and time, and focusing on energy, we craft each lot to be a unique expression of nature and nurture, transforming our coffee fruits into 'happy beans' that bring joy to the responsible consumer."
This coffee represents our mission to highlight exceptional coffee producers and their remarkable offerings through sustainable and responsible practices. Through our partnership with Finca Soledad, we are committed to bringing you coffees that not only excel in flavour but also respect and contribute positively to the environment and local communities.
