Finca La Providencia lies is the Tacuba municipality of western El Salvador and borders the biological corridor of the Parque Nacional El Imposible, a protected rainforest with a stunning array of plants and wildlife.
This 100% Caturra lot has been Black Honey processed, with much of the cherry kept in tact as the beans are first dried in completely shaded conditions. Left for 24 hours without turning, they are then carefully raked once a day, over a course of three weeks.
The careful process results in a cup of rounded sweetness, with notes of red apple, orange and brown sugar.
