El Obraje Anaerobic Washed

A fascinating Gesha, Maracaturra blend-lot from this progressive Colombian farm.

Across the stunning mountain farm in the mountains of the Nariño department, Colombia, coffee is planted down slopes that descend to the river valley, with just a quarter of the estate used for cultivating coffee. The remaining land has been converted into a natural forest reserve by the owner Pablo Guerrero.

The blend is 73% Gesha and 27% Maracaturra, with the latter planted between the Gesha trees, enjoying similar ripening times and sugar-content and originally planted as an experimental lot for the farm.
