AA Eagaads

A classic Kenyan of bold zingy acidity and rounded syrupy sweetness.

Kiambu county is home to some of the oldest coffee farms in Kenya, with the Eaagads Estate itself established in the 1940s. The farm has gone through many changes and is now split into two distinct parts, with a majority share held by Kofinaf, one of the largest coffee producers in the country.

Each season a huge effort is made to maintain crop-quality, ensuring all workers are trained to an incredibly high standard during peak harvesting times. The ripe Ruiru 11, SL28 and K7 cultivar-cherries are sorted and pulped, then fermented for 12 hours before a full washing process completes the cycle.
